The clergyman “Fine Strawberry”, “Anni” anise liqueur, “Pluum” – plum liqueur with caraway flavor and “Schnapps Pear” – four other products of the monastery distillery were awarded the quality seal “Typically Harz” at the recent meeting of the expert commission of the Harz Tourism Association. We are very happy about that!
Consumers can recognize the special quality of products from the Harz region by the regional brand “Typisch Harz”. Thus, when awarding the label, care is taken to ensure that, in addition to the criteria to be met (origin, location and processing), the qualitative value of the product plays a central role according to the principle of “class not mass”.
The catchment area of the regional brand is the association area of the Harz Tourism Association, which includes the districts of Goslar, Harz, Mansfeld-Südharz, Nordhausen and the Harz part of the district of Göttingen.
