Our assortment
The mild, characteristic pleasant taste of our noble grain is achieved through storage in oak barrels. From this noble grain, through the addition of plant, fruit and herbal extracts, the noble product range is created, which is constantly developed by our master distiller. So be sure to try our new varieties “Harzipan”, a marzipan liqueur, various spirits, the “1682 Edel Gin”. Also “apricot” and “pear”, two specialties of our new schnapps line enrich our assortment from now on.

The distillery
Since the foundation of the monastery distillery in 1682, Wöltingerode Monastery has been famous for its fine spirits. According to an old tradition, wheat from our own fields, clear well water and barley malt are used to produce first a raw spirit and then a fine spirit in copper stills. The result is a 96% fine spirit of unsurpassed purity, which contains only the fine floral grain aromas and, after aging in oak barrels, forms the basis for our liqueurs and spirits as well as vodka, gin and bitters.
